Guided by a mission

Tom Rampulla: Thank you, thank you, thank you. I could never be an actor. It’s like I talk to my kids “hey that was great, but…” (laugh)

Question (on screen): What drew you to Vanguard? And what’s kept you here?

Tom Rampulla: What drew me to Vanguard, frankly, is not that interesting of a story; I needed a job. So I heard about this interesting little organization in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and put in an application and eventually got the job.

I think what kept me here for 33 years is probably more interesting, and that is the mission of this organization – putting clients first and giving the best chance for investment success. And it’s such a mission-driven organization and the people are tremendous. And it’s really exciting to be part of something that’s bigger than yourself.
