Karin Risi: So, am I supposed to not be looking at the camera at all?

Karin Risi: It’s just gonna be right here. Perfect (laughs).

Question [on-screen]: How do you personally connect with Vanguard’s mission? 

Karin Risi: I’ve been a crew member at Vanguard for nearly 25 years. And, for me, it’s Vanguard’s mission to take a stand for all investors, to treat them fairly, and to give them the best chance for investment success that inspires me every day. Our mission is crystal clear.

I come to work every day knowing exactly why I’m here, to serve the needs of our clients. My job has grown more complex over the years, but no matter what decisions I’m involved in, I can always anchor back to a few simple questions. Are we doing what’s best for our investors? Are we making a decision that helps them achieve their financial goals? For as long as I’ve been here the answer has always been yes.
